I know this is a tad bit late but I usually ever miss a Golden Globe Awards night arrivals and post about the celebrity looks. What’s noticeable about the fashion and beauty aspect was there were a number of them who wore the Baroque trend, the Lace trend, and the coral reds of last year. While some wore the hot new look of the aqua colored eyeliner. A lot wore the side-swept wavy hair look and the messy buns! There was a showcase of bejeweled long earrings as well.
I think there was no recurring color theme for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards compared to last years hot white gown trend where almost everyone you see on the red carpet seems to be in a bridal party. This year was all about individuality and an updated retro look. Everyone aimed for fresh and laid back which is very refreshing.
Here are my top 10 favorites in no particular order: Halle Berry never seems to miss my eye. She has always been on my list of favorite looks at the Golden Globe. For this year Halle wore a one-shouldered pink printed dress with a thigh-high slit by Versace. I think her dress stood out the best because of the unusual print and her amazing pixie hairstyle!
Michelle Dockery was wearing a Baroque embellished gown by Alexander Vaulthier. She looks stunning in the dress. She simply glows with the gold and white plus her beautiful and fresh makeup and laid back wavy bob hair. Perfect!
Best Actress Anne Hathaway looks great! This white Chanel dress is perfect for her short blunt hairdo!
Kate Hudson in Alexandre McQueen looks hot hot hot in this low cut gown! The hair and makeup look fab as well!
Amanda Seyfried looks sweet and fierce at the same time with this sweet lace white gown by Givenchy. Her eyes just speak naughtily but her dress toned down the naughtiness plus her sweet long wavy hair and pale pink lips!
Nicole Kidman is always majestic in Alexander McQueen.
Thandie Newton also stood out in her short dress by Giles.

Anne Hathaway’s simple white gown looks perfect with her pixie haircut. Taylor Swift’s eggplant colored dress made her look seductive. Zooey’s red ballgown is as perky as her personality. And lastly, I was surprised with Jennifer Lawrences’ body shape! Wow with Dior! 🙂
I like Halley Berry’s gown and Lucy Lui’s hair. I am eager to try that reverse braid look but don’t know how. must look for tutorial video on youtube 😀
