The SWAP Watch Launch by Tomato

This decade’s fashion is all about individuality and self-expression. If someone came up with a product that will allow the buyer the freehand to customize it according to his preference, then it will surely be a hit. However, most customized items comes with a price. But if you combine affordability and customization together, then expect your product gone in 60 seconds!

This is what I think about the new SWAP watches whose concept was to allow everyone create their own watches that will reflect their own style, personality and everyday moods. With their 30 different silicone strap colors and 22 exciting watchface design, there’s just a lot of possibilities of the kind of watch design you can come up with.

I was able to create my own SWAP watch design at the event held at Tomato Flagship Store at the New Glorietta 2 Mall in Makati. The event was attended by a pack of popular fashion bloggers, members of the Philippine press and celebrities.

Guest were sent beforehand an activity card to use at the event venue and to pick a color of silicone strap that they will pair with a watchface they like. After picking your watch strap and watch face you can finis all the activity in the area so you can get another watchface design.

Of course you guessed it right, I choose the pink silicone strap and I paired it with a gold watch face. My next watchface was their advocacy statement/ graphic design which says” “Be The Change!”.

 

What I like best about SWAP Watches was their advocacy campaigns. Three colors out of the 30 colors available was partnered with three different advocacy. The Blue strap is in partnership with World Vision wherein 3 blue advocacy watches sold will benefit a child to be sent to school for a month.

The Orange strap is in partnership with Operation Blessing to advocate eradicating hunger in the country. For every 1 orange strap 15 meals will be served and feed 15 hungry mouths.

And last but not the least the Pink strap is in partnership with the Cancer Treatment and Support Foundation Inc. who advocates Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. For every 10 pink straps sold, they will give a free mammogram examination to someone who needs it but can’t afford it.

All SWAP Watches are now available in selected Tomato stores and SWAP Exhibits available at selected malls. The SWAP Watches is also available to purchase online at www.tomato.ph . A SWAP watchface is sold at Php500.00 each while the silicone strap is sold at Php350.00. In line with the launch of SWAP a limited supply of starter kits is also available for Php1,000.00 the kit includes two (2) silicone straps and a watchface.

If I were you I’d get all three advocacy straps as they are all worthy cause!
