Some men do wear makeup, especially those working in the showbiz/ entertainment industry. It is necessary,even if they don’t want to they are forced to. Makeup makes the men we desire in TV and print ad look more picture perfect and telegenic. Tom Ford recognizes this and so he would be the first to come out with the men’s makeup line. With this in the offing men no longer need to hide in the closet just to borrow their girlfriend, sister, or mom’s makeup.
But of course like any other men’s grooming and fashion items, the Tom Ford Men’s Makeup doesn’t come cheap! Tom Ford revealed that
a lipstick from his male cosmetics line will retail at $50.00 each, while a
concealer will retail about $78.00 and a
bronzing powder will be sold at $90.00. He will also come up with
mud mask, bronzing gels and other male grooming essentials.
For the metrosexuals, if you can afford such and want to completely avoid using your girlfriends makeup brand then this makeup line is another good investment or settle for your sisters makeup kit. Or try the
Marc Jacobs Unisex makeup line which
will be launched inn August 2013!. Marc Jacobs Beauty Line has unisex makeup and are priced less
lipstick and lipbalm is around $24.00, eyeshadow palette about $59.00 and will be sold at
Sephora and selected Marc Jacob stores. I think the staff at
soundcraft at musicians friend will love this male cosmetic line!

Let’s face it: some men need makeup as much as some women do. So why not? Haha.
Makeup for men. Hmmm. I don’t know how I feel about that. Especially the prices – ouch.
I can definitely see a lot of men using make-up, but at those prices – yikes!!

why not? as long as it looks natural and improves and enhances their look in some way without the need for plastic surgery. in the above photo, the lipstick seems to be too dark for a man, although it is a nice rosy pink shade. it needs to be more natural, and in a nude shade to blend with the complexion. most men still want to look like men, even with makeup.
