3 Reasons Why NBA Players James Harden, Eric Gordon, the Indiana Pacemates and Grizz Here in the Philippines?

Admittedly,I am not an NBA fan. I can’t even relate to all the NBA Tweets and Facebook post on my timeline during the championship game last season.  So, why the heck did I even bother attend this NBA press conference and why NBA Players James Harden of the Houston Rockets and Eric Gordon of the New Orleans Pelican with the beautiful Indiana Pacemates of Indianan Pacers and Grizz the Memphis Grizzlies team mascot are here in the Philippines?

Well, they are here for 3 reasons:

1. As a teaser to the upcoming NBA Global Games Philippines 2013 where the Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers in October 10,2013!  Watch out for it NBA Fans.  This is the first-ever NBA preseason game in the Philippines that will happen at the SM MOA Arena
2. To hold the 3-on-3 tournament a.k.a. NBA3x Philippines presented by Sprite.   The NBA3x is being conducted in 14 countries outside the US.  This is a 3-0n-3 tournament that provides players the opportunity to hone their skills (and probably find new talents/ players for NBA!).  The  NBA3x will start today July 26, 2013 to July 28,2013!  This 3-on-3 games includes a Male Division,Female Division and a VIP/Celebrity Division !  Grand winners for the games will win tickets to the NBA Global Games Philippines that I mentioned above!
3. Show how the NBA Cares Philippines with a Special Olympic games with 20 special kids/ or persons with disabilities (PWD) this Sunday, July 23, 2013!

Glad I did not mistake Mr. Chino Trinidad for anyone else who was interviewing James Harden here phew!

I heard that Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant will be coming in the Philippines real soon too! Looks like NBA is establishing their roots here in the Philippines I remember all that hype about the guy LeBron just recently!
