AirAsia Taylor Swift Livery Aircraft Launch Party in Kuala Lumpur

Air Asia definitely knows how to launch.  Select bloggers from the Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia were flown to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia just to attend the exclusive Red Hot Party to unveil the exclusive Taylor Swift aircraft livery just  in conjunction with her up coming THE RED TOUR in South East Asia!

Bloggers from South East Asian Region (Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore at the Taylor Swift Livery Aircraft Red Hot Party in Kuala Lumpur.  Included in this group shot were AirAsia SE Team and celebrities from Kuala Lumpur.The Airbus A320 with the exclusive Taylor Swift aircraft livery will be travelling to the various South East Asian cities for the tour, including Jakarta, Manila and Singapore, in addition to Kuala Lumpur.

Aireen Omar, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia Berhad unveiled the latest aircraft livery to be added to AirAsia‟s extensive list of unique aircraft liveries, and fans of Taylor Swift around the region will be able to see this special aircraft livery for the next one year, as this aircraft will also be servicing AirAsia routes throughout our network which spans 88 destinations across 22 countries.

“Taylor Swift’s tour will be kicking off in South East Asia soon, and we are looking forward to welcome Taylor Swift and her crew on board our special aircraft. At AirAsia, we‟ve always taken branding to a different level and this opportunity to work with Taylor and her team marks yet another milestone for us as we continue to build the brand globally,” said Aireen Omar.

The Taylor Swift RED ASEAN TOUR Presented by Cornetto will be at Jakarta on June 4, Manila on  June 6, Kuala Lumpur on June 11 and in Singapore on June 9 and 12. 

We were expecting Taylor Swift herself to be in the Red Hot party but we were told she couldn’t make it that day.  As much as disappointed we were and some even felt like a loser posing with the image carton, personally I still felt lucky to be there.  Hey, who ever gets to travel out-of-the-country for free with free everything just to attend a party/ event? Not many I assume.

Also, we were given a pinch of hope that when she comes in Manila we will be invited with backstage pass to meet her in person as compensation for the disappointment of not having seen her in KL.  Not bad right?

AirAsia has a number of aircraft collaborations with brands, events and celebrities and I saw some of them too!

The NBA All Stars, The Prince, the Rangers and not seen in the pic The Apprentice I was super impressed with the huge airport AirAsia has in KL, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 also known as KLIA2 and The Gateway! It was like super huge like probably the size of Makati or larger with the number of aircraft it can accommodate, the runway and the huge mall like facilities and a hotel (Sama-Sama).

It would be awesome if the Philippine International Airport could achieve such amazing facility even one-fourth of it would be great. I can dream, and hope.
