Forever 21 Fall/Winter 2014 Collection and Store Relaunch Event

Forever 21 is always one of my go-to shop when I need a new piece to make my look updated or stylish but I will always be drawn at colors and prints or standout pieces.

When I was invited to play part at the makeover styling contest using the Forever 21 Fall/Winter 2014 Collection at the store relaunch event held at SM Megamall, what my makeover partner Catch made me wear would be some pieces I will use individually but will not put together myself. This would be my First x Forever (maipasok lang!)

Did you recognize me? Catch styled me like a tourist in Korea he said.

I like it, it was totally not my style but will try it once likr today. See I wouldn’t wear an entire black ensemble because my mom will kill me. She believe and feel like wearing an entire black ensemble is like someone mouring. The only exemption I wore an entire black ensemble was when we were mouring my father’s death 7 years ago. After a whole ywar of wearing black and white only I got tired of the dull black and the sad moment it symbolizes. So, because of that I wear more color or at least a splash of happy colors here and there in my outfit.

Now back to the styling contest. Yuki and Rhea team won the styling contest and I couldn’t agree more. Their style was fresh and chic with splashes of fall colors. Their style is something I will wear myself. Earth tones as they said.

Raisa and Tin wear streetstyle and preppy something. I didn’t hear their style explanation really coz I was at the backstage.
