I’m definitely a believer!
Let me just say that the musical was magnificent! A super value for your money. It stayed true to the movie, the first Shrek movie ever with a little adlibs and adjustment that is fit for a theater production. I suggest you watch it especially for Shrek fans.
Script was great, very hilarious! You will laugh from srart to end. Songs and musical scoring were well written. The actors/artist who played each role were good! I can’t help but take notice that everyone sounded like the original especially Pinochio and the Gingerbread Man!
Lord Farquad was so Lord Farquad. Shrek is funnier in here than the movie. Donkey is so Donkey and Fiona is way funnier!
Production and costume was outstanding. There’s some cameo appearances from Dreamworks famous characters. And some fun adlib I don’t remember happenjng in the original movie but it was so funny!
I’ve seen all the Shrek movies and seen Shrek the original many many times and yes even if you have seen the movie you will enjoy the musical as well! Its seeing each character come to life and its so exciting.
Joost have not seen any Shrek movies but he said he enjoyed the musical and based on the previewbof Shrek in commercials he seen they all soubded like them. He usia fan of musicals so he appreciates the show a lot. He said the artist who played each role were good especially their voices and acting skills. I concur.
