Lots To Tackle In Less Than 24 Hours

My day is jam-packed and I don’t know how I am going to finish everything today. Tomorrow will be a holiday here because of Id Al Fitir (End of Ramadan) and its pay day for most of the working class here.

1) I need to go to the doctor immediately to have my lower back checked. I fell flat on my back almost 2 weeks ago because my daughter jumped on me while I was in the computer. I fell tits up and I was down on the floor for probably more than 10 minutes or so. It was all sore after and I had to take a couple of pain reliever. Eventually I got used to the pain. But last Sunday while I was on the seminar I felt a moving tiny lump on my right lower back just above the pelvic bone and an inch or so to the spinal cord. I am a bit scared what if it’s cancerous or something. Yikes. I can’t be sick.
2) I need to go to the bank get some cash and pay TONS of bills. Pay day yikes long lines and banks close at 3pm here ugh.
3) Work demands me to be in the office on standby after lunch because of a press conference at 2pm and I will be the hotline for the inquiries.
4) I need to go pay my internet and phone bills.
5) I need to place an appointment for my daughters MRI test.
6) I need to meet-up with a friend and talk about the sale of a property.
7) Might be meeting up with my high school best friend to catch up.
8) I need to go to the grocery, supplies at home almost gone.
9) I need to send my letter of intent for the home program of my daughter.
10) I need to buy my daughters medicine she is on her last day of it.

Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! This are the type of days I wish there was more than 24 hours and that government and bank offices and hospitals don’t have a 5 or 6pm closing time. Ok friends got to run. Ouch my back hurts!

Anyway, enough complaining. What if we really have more than 24 hours? Do you really think we can accomplish everything we want to say like 36 hours? Maybe.

Well, I was asked what type of planner organizer I use and the selections were: A PDA, A PC or laptop, A portable paper planner , A wall or desk calendar , The back of your hand, A combination of the above or None of the above. Well I would say a combination of a portable paper planner, my wall calendar and my cellphone. Like right now with the above tackles I have to do within 24 hours I carry my notebook/planner and check what I have to do and then check my phone for the time 😛 (I don’t wear a watch!)

But seriously, what if we have more than 24 hours? Do you think we can accomplish more or we are just gonna slack the more?

  1. Hi Sherry,

The doctor just recommended a therapist to “melt” the lumps. Which I think is very commonsense really but I was just bothered by unusual little moving lumps where it shouldn’t be. I do need a good massage. I hope I find alone time soon though.

    Thanks for dropping by 🙂

  2. Hi AmyG,

Thanks. Doctor said I need a physical therapist to “melt” these lumps on my back doc found like five of them. Didn’t recommend for an X-ray or anything.

Day is over 9:30pm for me, I wasn’t able to do the groceries because of the terrible terrible lines at the back at and the the bills payment and then I see the line at the grocery… aaaaaaaaaaaahhhh! I passed that one today 😛 I’ll do it tomorrow with my daughter I hope lines not that long but I’m not so sure either because it’s a holiday!

  3. Wow, lots to tackle, but it is doable! 😀 Hope the doctors can help you with your back. Ugh! 🙁
