It’s officially Christmas! In our house anyway!
Well, I restrained myself from putting up decorations as early as I used to, and since it’s just 50 days before Christmas! (OMG! Can you believe it? It’s just 50 days!) As promised, I will let Halloween, All Saints Day and All Souls Day pass before I put up my Christmas decorations. I do my part on the bargain and I try to keep all my promises as much as possible as long as it’s doable. So here I am so happy putting up my Christmas tree and decorating it! Yipee!
Thanks to my internet service provider for making it possible, since their system was down all day. I dedicated half 1/4 of Monday and half of this Tuesday for this one crucial tackle!
Before and after
I bought a new Christmas tree, it’s time for my old one to retire since it served us for six Christmases already. This one is a 6 foot slim tree. I wanted a slim one this time and I want to make it fat with ornaments.

My daughter and my kittens were as excited as I was. So when I was taking out some of the ornaments from the storage and the boxes there they are one was digging in and the two were playing ring around the tree!

One big mess!
One beautiful tree! I’m so proud of it!
Sorry I don’t have pics while I was assembling this thing, I was so immersed trying to figure out which part goes where but there as you can see I was successful!

I just love putting up Christmas decorations it bring happy thoughts and feelings to the old and the young and even the cats! I also love it when I go to the living area and see this beautiful tree. My next tackle would be the Christmas lights and ornaments around the house! This is so fun!
How about you? Are you as crazy as I am when it comes to putting up Christmas decorations?

You have your Christmas tree up early! It looks beautiful. I enjoy decorating too, usually around Thanksgiving. It’s a fun project to do with the kids.
