Globe Apps Beta Testing A Failure

I attended a Globe Labs Applications Beta Testing the other day to try out some new applications Globe innovated. Some of them are very interesting especially the REI application where you can hide messages from a particular person by just inputting a particular word or phrase. The messages will be hidden from everyone and can only be read if you know the password.

Another cool application they had is the FN Suite where you can remotely lock and unlock your phone in case you left or forgot it somewhere. It can also detect if someone inserts a different SIM card in your phone, you can also find the location of your phone in case you lost it and you can remotely delete all your files and messages stored in your phone and SD card. An amazing application.

However, the testing was a failure because 1) We were not able to browse and download the applications because globe mobile is having server problems; 2) we were not able to download the applications on our own because the applications were already installed on the phones we used for the beta testing; 3) the event was kinda disorganized somehow, it would have been better if we were handed out press kits so we can read more about the application and what to do with the application we were asked to browse. There are other applications but since there was no press kit I can’t recall all of them. Oh I remember that phone crack thingy that makes your LCD appear damaged/ broken.

I personally tried to download the applications on my phone but since Globe was experiencing server failures I wasn’t able to install them on my phone. Boooo!

Since they said they accept feedback positive or not I want to tell Globe that it would be best to at least perfect your existing applications and services before you launch another application/product. I already told them this at the event so I hope they will do what they can to improve the existing services first.
