PLDT introduces another first for myDSL subscribers, the PLDT myDSL WatchPad.
For Plan 1299 subscribers you will get unlimited DSL plus a landline and a WatchPad. Internet connection is now up to 768 kbps. For Plan 990 subscribers just add another Php 300 to your landline bill. To apply you just need to present a valid ID and sign-up for the 1 year lock-up period.
WatchPad allows myDSL subscribers the power to watch, chat, blog and share all at the same time. At the moment there are 10 channels you can watch as you surf your favorite website without having to close any window. Channels available are GMA 7, MTV, PBO, CNBC, Go, Cartoon Network, CNN, National Geographic, and Animax Mobile. You can download the software and get your free username and password at www.pldtwatchpad.com.

I have plan 1299….they installed in after 2 months….upon installation, they open the internet mozilla firefox…they used http://www.speedtest.net to show to me that my connection goes upto .70mbps or 700kbps..the test results shows upto 800Kbps. the technician even said “wow mabilis d2 ah”…
for the first 3 weeks, i always use speedtest.net to check my speed and it ranges 500-850kbps…rarely lang na bumababa upto 380kbps pag Busy hours pero bumabalik din after 1-3hours…
ang problem ko ngayon ay kung bakit ung first bill ko ay 3898.53 minus 1,100.00 na advance payment ko noon kaya 2798.53 na lang naiwan for my first bill.
Tapos ang recurring charge ko to start next month is
DSL bundled Service data = 579.92
DSL bundled Service data = 1159.83
TOTAL monthly charge = 1739.75
Nasan na yung 1299.00 da plan 1299…tapos palagi busy pa ang 171 for infos….kailangan ko na namang pumunta sa office nila…
pwede kayang i cancel ko na lang to at maghanap ng ibang plan999 na 999.00 lang talaga ang payment.
weh ako nga plan3000 la pa rin wala lang ibang ISP kaya pinagtyatyagaan ko ung pldt dati na rin kasi ako smartbro subscriber pare pareho sila walang kwenta pati globe, imagine 1 week walang internet yung friend ko.
Same here brow i had newly purchased the plan1299 and i cant also download watch pad player that has been required to start viewing channels… how is it been done? need reply.. thanks!!!
Same here. Plan 1299 pero wala pa rin adjustments sa speed. Max ko pa rin 0.50 sa speed tests.
Tried calling them several times already and iba iba replies:
1. Try subscribing sa watchpad daw.
2. Hintayin lang daw.
3. Acceptable daw speed kasi nasa 50%.
4. Ginawan na daw nila ng report.
5. Ongoing upgrades na daw.
6. Depende daw sa area pag upgrade.
7. The list goes on and on. 🙂
To think nung first day of subscription ko nasa 0.30 lang speed and isang tawag lang nung installers sa support nagawa na nila kagad 0.50.
Thinking of switching to Globe kasi may promo sila ngayon na 1295/2MBps. Di bale na bayaran lock in period kung within the next days di pa rin ma up speed ko with PLDT.
