Gretchen Barreto, The New Face Of Glutamax

Gretchen Barreto is now the new image model of Glutamax replacing Jinky Oda. This was revealed to us last Wednesday, during the announcement and awarding of winners of the Glutamax The New Me contest, which sadly I didn’t win the grand prize but just a consolation prize (bitter lolz!)

There is a positive and negative side of changing their image model, the positive is that they got a much prettier and sophisticated “sosyal” face to represent Glutamax complimenting their new campaign tagline “Kutis Mayaman“. The negative would be everybody knows Gretchen Barreto is fair skinned already so if they plan to sell the product as a whitening product, she is not a credible endorser compared to Jinky Oda whom we saw a total change with her skin tone! Kudos to that.

The Glutamax The New Me contest awarding and launch of their Kutis Mayaman campaign and endorser and new product line was held at Eastwood City.   This was the same event where Gretchen Barreto allegedly walked out during a press interview when asked about her and her sister Claudine Barreto rift.   Honestly, she didn’t walk-out,  she was just trying to create a buzz over her new show and her sister Claudine’s show which airs on two different TV giant with the same time slot.
