Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is an outstanding epic, fantasy, adventure, thriller movie that I definitely recommend everyone to watch.
Most Nitendo gamers who payed the game before have commented that the movie stayed close to the games essence. For someone who didn’t know what the game was all about I was still able to relate to the film and applaud the entire production, cast, crew, writers, director for their amazing work.
The script was great, its so packed with unthinkable twist and witty and funny lines. The writer was a genius to be able to inject political commentaries and realities in a hilarious manner . The stunts left me breathless. The costumes I adore. Production was well though of and casting was brilliant as they were able to introduce upcoming big stars in Hollywood . The graphic effects is well done. For a 2D movie, I somehow felt the movie was 3D especially with the snakes that looks almost real .
Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan was amazing in this movie. He was such an eye candy in here unlike in his other movie appearances in the past. And I bet the guys loved the alluring presence of the luscious Gemma Arterton as Tamina in the movie too. I also loved the character Seso played by Steve Toussaint in the movie.
The movie is full of great values you would love to teach your children, love, trust, honor, respect, “We make our own destiny!” and “If you have to decide on something important decide with your heart.” Mushy much but really nice.

“Prince of Persia, The Sands of Time” was probably one of the movies which turned my disappointment other way around. To be honest when I entered the cinema I was expecting crappy story and not a lot of action. Those expectations were destroyed when the movie started to with back story to prince and then a battle scene. The battle scene was made in really awesome way and I was left pleased. Through out the whole story it was just ups and downs, they didn’t leave the watcher waiting for action or any other events for long, since the action scene just kept on coming on and on. The ending was pretty interesting and it wasn’t another misleading and disappointing story. I just loved it.
the movie is awesome. for a span of almost 2 hours, life has been that great. too much action for some kids, i would say, but it is how amazing life is from the heart-breaking scenes to the horrendous deaths and romantic squeeze of happiness, life has been resurrected to do good and be good and not to do all over again what is bad. (parang deja vu yung movie! sa point of view of pronce Dastan. =D)
