I Survived The Sky Walk Extreme Cebu, My Sky Experience Adventure

I successfully completed the walk on the Country’s First Sky Walk Extreme, a path around the 37th level outer-rim of Crown Regency Hotel & Towers, the tallest hotel tower in the country, standing 40 stories high located at Fuente Osmeña, the heart of Cebu City in the Philippines.

The Sky Walk is the first Sky Experience Adventure in the world. It is a 15 minute walk around the edge platform of the 37th floor of Crown Regency Hotels & Tower, the tallest building in Cebu.

The exciting part is you will be walking on a glass platform with no railing to hold on but a harness and a cable on your back for safety.

Obviously I don’t have fear of heights, in fact I love to see the things below me. We did a one-foot stand at the edge of the platform and even peek down to see the entrance of Crown Regency Hotel way down below.

Cameras are not allowed while you are on the Sky Walk but don’t worry there is an official photographer who will be following you around and with some stop over for some photo ops. The official photographer was the one who tool all photos at the Sky Walk platform. You can have your photos printed or have a CD copy for Php230.00 minimum of 10 photos in the CD.

Sky Experience Adventure

Tickets can be purchased at the 19th floor of Crown Regency Hotel & Towers where the elevator that will take you to the 37th floor is located. Tickets is sold at Php400.00 for one ride (choice of Sky Walk or Edge Coaster) including snacks and entrance to the Sky Bar and Sky Observatory. Hotel guest of Crown Regency have a special price of Php150.00 per person.

Reminders:

• Use of sneakers and jumpsuit are free.   If you are not wearing socks for hygienic purposes you can buy a new one for Php20.00 at the registration area.
• Upon entrance to the Sky Lounge you will be asked to put on the orange jumpsuits, your socks and sneakers .  You will be asked to wear your harness and some security strings for you sunglasses or reading glasses if you are wearing one.
• Wearing jewelries (earrings, rings, watch, bracelets) is not allowed on the ride so you can leave them at the locker they will provide.
• Height requirement: Kids below 52 inches are not allowed to ride

Edge Coaster

Aside from the Sky Walk Extreme, you can also try out the World’s First Edge Coaster at Sky Experience Adventure. it is a 3 minute coaster ride at the edge of the 38th floor of Crown Regency Hotel & Tower.  I wasn’t able to ride the Edge Coaster because I was running on a schedule.  Will try it next time though.

If you don’t want to ride the Edge Coaster or try the Sky Walk Extreme you can still have a nice overlooking view of Cebu at the Sky Bar and Sky Observatory located at the 37th and 38th floor of Crown Regency Hotel & Tower.
