The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Movie Review

This will be short and sweet because I still don’t have a PC ill post more soon promise.

All I can say for now is The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a very entertaining movie with nice graphics and effects. I love the fact that kids can watch the movie. I watched it last night with my daughter at the height of the power outage in Metro Manila and entire Luzon and she loved it.

The movie was slow in the beginning and I didn’t like the voice narration but it was needed to cut the story short and to get to the point to the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. I loved the movie you should watch it with your kids its about magic and Science especially Physics so its very educational too.

Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners pit their powers against those of the fiercest—and most ruthless—villains of all time. It’ll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
