“Black Swan” staring Natalie Portman, was one of the movies nominated for Best Picture at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The movie hasn’t been released in the country yet but is included in Fox’s 2011 movie line-up.
I’m excited to see this movie as the movie has not just been getting the attention of movie critics but even the people from the fashion industry. Wedding dresses, party and cocktail outfits are now mostly inspired by the movie. I’m sure you’ve seen ballerina flats, tutus, tights, and body suit around.
The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards is slated to be shown on January 16, 2011 and actor comedian Ricky Gervais is the expected host. Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel and Blair Underwood helped announced the nominees today.
“The King’s Speech,” “The Fighter,” and “The Social Network” and “The Black Swan” were among the leading contenders for Best Motion Picture at for the 2011 Golden Globe nominees.
“The King’s Speech” received the most nominations of any movie with seven, followed by “The Fighter” and “The Social Network” with six each, and “Black Swan,” “Inception” and “The Kids Are All Right” with four each.
The new Johnny Depp/Angelina Jolie vehicle “The Tourist,” which was a disappointment at this weekend’s box office and was blasted by many critics, scored three unexpected nods.
Anne Hathaway, James Franco and Annette Bening were among the nominees in the film acting categories.
“Glee” received the most nominations of any TV show, with five nods.
Idris Elba, Judie Dench, and Jennifer Love Hewitt were among the nominees in the TV categories.
