Who Wears What @ The People’s Choice Award 2011

The thing I love about awards night is that I get to window shop for the clothes that celebrities wore and make fun of those who look odd or off. Last January 5, 2011 was the People’s Choice Awards Nights 2011 and can you believe, Kristen Stewart (Twilight Saga) won as the Favorite Actress award winning over Angelina Jolie, and Julia Roberts! Other nominees for that award were Jennifer Aniston and Katherin Heigl! Way to go Kristen!

I can say she was a winner that night wearing a Reema Acra gold sequin dress with a belt, black peep-toe high-heels and a laid back parted in the middle hair!


There’s so many designers who have this dress, I’ve seen a similar one at Forever 21 so its easy to get this look. But its not what you wear, its how you wear it!

Katy Perry, my recent favorite artist these days, also won the awards at the Favorite Artist at the People’s Choice Awards 2011 looks absolutely cute with the fluro ballerina dress by Spring 2011 collection by Betsey Johnson paired with a Casadei fuchsia satin peep toe heels! Love it!

I also love what Ashley Tisdale wore in the awards, a Farah Angsana printed gown pair with a nude Casadei heels, and accesorized with a beautiful Swarovski bag and a Dana Rebecca cocktail ring.

Another winner, Taylor Swift, bagging the Favorite Country Artist, looks very elegant in the nude ensemble she choose. The nude dress was from J. Mendel, a peep toed nude heels by Prada and Neil Lane jewelries.

Selena Gomez wore a symmetrical ruffled dress by Paule Ka dress which she paired with a Guieseppe Zanotti peep toe heels, Tresor earrings, a Brumani ring and a Vahan bracelet.

And the Kardashians

Kim Kardashian wore a figure hugging dress by Malandrino paired with a nude peep toe heels by Christian Louboutin, a Rina Limor necklace, a pair of Amrapali earrings, a Chanel clutch.

Khloe Kardashian wore a floor length gray sheer gown by Alexander McQueen paired with Amrapali earrings andr a Judith Leiber clutch.

Kourtney Kardashian wore a dress by Gert-Johan Coetzee which she paired with a Swarovski clutch and a tan Christian Louboutin heels. I really don’t like the look but she’s a Kardashian so we put her in here haha!

I love what Minka Kelly wore for the awards, a lace belted dress kinda gypsy look paired with Brian Atwood heels in suede.

I love the electric blue puffball dress Kate Walsh wore from David Meisters Signature Collection which she paired with a Christian Louboutin black patent Pigalle heels.

Aly Michalka (left) wore a beautiful black dress with metallic silver lace detailing which she paired with Jimmy Choo heels, a Ferragamo clutch and Swarovski and Jacob & Co jewellery. AJ Michalka wore a dress by George Hobeika which she paired with Sergio Rossi heels and a Levian ring.

Emma Robets looks lovely in her black ruffled dress by Dior paired with Brian Atwood satin heels, a Miu Miu clutch, a Rina Limor ring and Carla Amorim earrings.

But the best of all and an awesome surprise was Angelina Jolie got nominated as a Favorite Action Star! Imagine that! And she is the only woman getting that nomination in that award ever! The winner is Jackie Chan and other nominees were Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Robert Downey Jr. . I love you Angelina! She didn’t attend the awards night though.

Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt in the movie Salt. She also injured herself during the shoot of this movie, definitely deserving of an Action Star nomination!
