BeautyUK Urban Girl Nail Polish Gift Set Review

I got these last month straight from UK after winning a contest from BeautyUK about the kind of nail polish I would design that they will create if I won.  I suggested a nail polish color that is kinda like a mood ring and magic lipstick that adopts the color of the wearer to create the right kind of lipstick shade for the user.  I didn’t win, but I was a second placer, which is not bad.

The Beauty UK Urban Girl Nail Polish Gift Set is unavailable at their online store for the moment. I am not surprised because these gift set is a collection of their most famous nail polish shades and is sold a little less than £5.00 a pack. Not bad eh?

On my nails:
I’m so lazy to do an entire row of colors on my nails so I decided to use one shade on every finger to make the color sampling much faster and easier.

I wasn’t able to try the white shade though because I only have five fingers on each hand (bummer!) LOL! But well I can say its color is so vivid it looks like a liquid paper! Its best use for those who do nail art though I’m not sure about using it as a tip for your french manicure tip.

What do I think about it:

• I like the variety of colors that is available in one packaging I understand why it got out-of-stock easily
• I don’t like how fast it thickens.   Its kinda bothersome that it thickens so fast while being applied.
• I love how it has this quick drying formula.
• I love how it shines even if you don’t apply a top coat with natural color to bring shine on every finger.
• Its very hard to remove even if an acetone or polish remover.
• The colors are all nice.
• It doesn’t have that overpowering smell like other nail polish brands.
