Hello all, did you miss me? Sorry the December bug bit me and I’m swamped with too many chores that I barely have time to sit down and write a decent blog post.

Anyway, one of the things I am proud to be a part of is being an online influencer/blogger advocate of the World Wide Fund for Nature a.k.a. WWF Greener at 50 Auction: Bid for the Environment campaign.

The Greener at 50 is a fundraising online auction in partnership with E-bay Philippines for the benefit of WWF-Philippines’ environmental sustainability projects all over the country.

This project includes more than just saving and protecting endangered species, it involves livelihood of the community, survival ability of the conservation sites in the country, among many other things that needs to be done.

I am one of the five (5) blogger WWF advocates/online influencers who will open up an auction of limited edition items from famous celebrities and personalities. Items are classified under fashion, music, food, arts, sports, and once-in-a-lifetime WWF-led trips to conservation areas you can never get anywhere but through our auction.

Aside from me, other participating WWF-Philippines blogger advocates/ online influencers include Jayvee Fernandez of a Bugged Life, Vince Golangco if When in Manila, Enrico Dee of Byahilo and Ria Tirazona of The Accidental succeeding weeks until January 18.

Unlike other chairy auctions, WWF-Philippines CEO and Vive Chair Jose Ma. Lorenzo Tan and WWF-Phils Individual Donor Program Online Officer Marie BretaÑa believe that the Greener at 50 Auction is geared into making people realize that everything is connected as the items for auction are different from one another, and despite this, we learn this everything still goes back to nature.
