The past two weeks was really dragging. The sky is so gloomy and everything outside is wet. For moms who know better, they would rather keep their kids at home where it is safe and dry. With this kind of weather it is very easy to catch a cold and other virus that thrive in a cold and wet environment.

When the sun showed up last Saturday, my daughter’s happiness could not be contained. She immediately ran at our open rooftop veranda to run around and bask at the sun. That’s usually our bonding moment every morning if the weather is nice outside, go upstairs and say Good morning sun!

However, it looks like beautiful sunny mornings will be a scarce this past few months and daughter and I don’t have any choice but to do our bonding time indoors. This past week daughter and I have been enjoying the following activities:

Bake some brownies, daughter helps me with the batter mix:

Blog or play games on the laptop. She likes to doodle and play Plants vs. Zombies or Angry Birds

Play with my makeup. Daughter likes me to put some lipstick on her and she likes to join me for the photo ops!
Be goofy on the cam while looking at the mirror!

Or play with her toys like this fabric practice for poi dancing!

And then nap with the kitty when we get tired of all our activities!

But, no matter how fun and handful of activities we do indoors, a kid is always a kid who wants variety and the outdoors or at least the payground, like the Fun Ranch where there’s so many activities kids will enjoy!

I’d love to take her there soon, but I would love it more if she have playmates with her!
