The first time I had my solo-trip vacation in HongKong in 2009, one of the things I enjoyed doing while I was having lunch, dinner or breakfast was to face the window view where I can see people walk by. Why? I was having fun trend spotting and see HongKong street style . I’ve been doing that all day until the end of my trip and guess what? During my 5 day solo-sojourn exploring the entirety of HongKong, I can immediately spot a Filipino by just looking at how they dress-up! One thing very Filipino was the love for flip-flops. They are the only ones you can see wearing flip flops/slippers a lot wherever, whenever!
Why not, flip-flops are so comfortable to wear. It gives our feet freedom and doesn’t give us callouses the way cloused shoes does. We can virtually do anything wearing it. Admit it or not, flip-flops goes well with any outfit as well all you have to do is change colors or design! With that being said, I bet you would love to stock-up on the latest Banana Peel Flip-Flops as the latest design and collection definitely have a lot of appeal!

Eyeing the animal prints. too bad I can’t see a leopard though. But still. I actually like a lot from the different collections. Hoping I can even fit on the hello kitty ones. 🙂
I love the Prints Charming collection especially “Mystique” design. I also like the Trellis Twist collection particularly the “Vintage Quilt”. I’m really a Banana Peel fan even years before when their prices were unbelievably low. But now, you really get a great and sturdy pair of slippers with a price tag that’s definitely not steep! 😀
trying.. 🙂
i think the new collections are a refreshing change from the typical flip-flop designs around in the market..i do fancy the Abbey Lane and the Ahoy collection…but if there’s any size 13 with the JLC2 Collection i think hubby would like that…lol!
