BYS Foundation Stick In Sand Beige Review

If you reach my age, using foundation, liquid, cream or powder would be one of your best makeup tricks ever.   Why?  Because foundation helps makes your skin appear smoother and supple and if you wear the right shade and finish for your skin type, it will appear very natural and you will look divinely flawless.  I haven’t tried much cream stick foundation types before so this BYS Foundation Stick is my first.

BYS Foundation Stick is a foundation that comes in stick form to provide easy application. The formula will smooth your skin tone for an even finish. Acts as a full coverage foundation and also perfect for concealing any blemishes or imperfections. Ideal for touch-ups on the go throughout the day and/or night.  It comes in six shades:  Warm Tan,  Cool Ivory, Buff, Sand Beige, Natural Beige,  and Rich Tan.

I got the Sand Beige shade so I think its one shade lighter than my skin tone.  I think the Warm Tan suits me better.

Twist and dab on the face and blend using your fingers

On My Face

It was a shade lighter so the difference is obvious. But if I top it with the loose powder I normally wear that’s exactly my shade, there’s no difference at all. The obvious difference is only obvious on a shot with flash but without flash it looks good.

What I think of it?

• I love the semi matte finish.  Has a satin like feel on the skin.
• It has the consistency of a cream concealer.
• Because of the semi-matte finish it is perfect for those with very oily face.
• You can use this to cover blemishes as it definitely evens out the skin.
• It doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the face.

TIP:

• If you have dry face, I suggest you use moisturizer first before applying as the cream is very thick it will be a bit hard to blend on dry skin.
• Use one coat of the foundation stick if you just want to look very natural but if you need full coverage you can apply two coats for full coverage.

Do I recommend it?

Yes! For $13.95 or about Php600.00 it is not bad for those who wants a foundation stick they can use on the go.  It’s so easy to use and blends easily on the skin.  Just make sure to get the shade that matches your skin.  But if you are acidic you can go a shade lighter and it will be perfect.
