Nominated For Best Social Media Movement TattAwards2013

I am dumbfounded over this Twitter feedback I got on May 19, 2013 at exactly 9PM. As TattooBroadband out of nowhere tagged me on a Tweet saying I am nominated for the Best Social Media Movement at the #TattAwards2013!

My first reaction was, is this a joke? I thought maybe someone was playing a good joke on me. I thought maybe the TattooBroadband twitter account was hacked and I am victim.  While waiting for the video attached to upload, I tried to look into the twitter account and found out it was sending a lot of tweets to other users who are also nominated for certain categories for the Tatt Awards.  Maybe this is real.  What a sweet surprise!

But then again, other thoughts came rushing through my head :

• Who nominated me?
• Why did he/she nominate me?
• What did I say or do online to merit such nomination?

I would like to know who nominated me and personally thank her for thinking of me as someone who have influenced her via social media.

Honestly, being nominated, even if I will not make it to the final shortlisted nominee is a great honor already.  Because I know somewhere, somehow, somebody is learning from me and think I have an impact in their lives. I am moved!

I am also flattered to find out the names of the other people nominated  in the same category of Best Social Media Movement ;  Angel Locsin,  Anapooasa, Amanda Colling, Fitz Tentativa, When in Manila,  Flow Galindez,  Gang Badoy, Team Manila, I am Plumpinay,  Juan Manila, Divine Lee, Sagada Sun, Carlos Celdran, BlogwatchPH .   This is such an honor!
