Almost two weeks ago, I cut my past-shoulder length hair DIY style! I always do that especially when I have no time to go to the salon and I’m itching for a hair makeover! I’m not that comfortable with my growing hair and I did not like putting my hair up all the time. My peg was the LOB hairstyle! Yes, Lob, a.k.a. Long Bob which is between short bob hair and a shoulder length hair.
Peg 1: Alexa Chung Lob Hairstyle
Here I am wearing my LOB Alexa Chung style:
So what do you think? Did I achieve the Lob look?
Peg 2: Ciarra and Kerry Washington Lob Hairstyle
Kiera Knightly Long Bob will work for those with flat and thin hair:
Nicole Richie’s Lob hair will work for those with full straight hair
Make sure you get a short do that complements your unique facial features.
Think of your face shape, your jawline, the length of your neck—all of those things contribute to how short or long you can go,” says Gibson, adding that keeping some length will likely be more flattering than a pixie. “If it’s a little longer it’s slimming and more angular on the face and neck.”
Personally, I love my new short do, it is so “wash and wear” so to speak. Moms like me who needs to do one-too-many-things at a time can hardly have time to blowdry before doing an errand or two. There are more people who love it on me than those who don’t because they prefer long hair. In general, everybody loved it because I looked 10 years younger!
So, which of the above Lob hair pegs did you like best?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
