Pop up stores – shopping boutiques that are only open for a day or two – have been the all rage across the metro, with established brands and new entrepreneurs breathing fresh life into the Manila retail scene. The pop up store trend has become such a major retail phenomenon, that even the Wharton School has devoted an entire research report documenting its rise.
This Saturday, July 6, from 11am to 7pm, AVA is hosting a pop up store featuring celebrity-turned-designer Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez. For one day only, Tweetie’s first full collection of apparel, bags, and jewelry will be available at a pop up store at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall’s Grove Lounge, located across Zara on the ground floor.
