What’s In My Complete Manicure/Pedicure Nail Care Kit For My DIY NOTDs

For mommies like me, going to the nail care salon to have a manicure and pedicure take a lot of effort.  Most moms feel guilty of spending more than an hour having a me time to take care of their looks.  Moms will rather do something else that will benefit the entire family than just themselves.  This is basically the reason why some moms get so “losyang” (look old and haggard).   Here’s a basic (ok almost complete) manicure/ nail care kit you can squeeze in the next time you do your shopping/grocery.

What’s in this complete manicure/pedicure Nail Care Kit?

  1. Caronia Nail Polish
  2. Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
  3. Caronia Fast Dry Top Coat
  4. Caronia Nail Polish Remover
  5. Caronia Cuticle Sanitizer
  6. Caronia Cuticle Remover
  7. Nipper
  8. Nail Brush
  9. Nail File
  10. Nail Block
  11. Nail Pusher
  12. Nail Cutter

I know they look handful but that is all you need to keep your nails looking good!

Why do you need a cuticle sanitizer and nail harderner and base coat?

Some home service manicurista (manicurist) use that red medicine for wounds (merthiolate) but it is better to use the sanitizer instead to clean, disinfect and sanitize your cuticles after all the pushing and cleaning done.  The nail hardener and base coat will condition and keep your nails stronger and prevent it from chipping.  And if you don’t want color on your nails this can work as your colorless nail polish.
You can organize your manicure/pedicure nail care set in a small plastic container like this. This set was given to me by California Nails & Day Spa

Then apply two coats of nail polish color of your choice and the top coat and tada! Your ready for your nails of the day! #NOTD

  1. hahaha. my mom also make singit to her time to have her manicure and pedicure on despite the hectic sked she has of being a mom. 🙂 and a fan of Caronia too!

  2. I have a lady who does my manicure-pedicure every two weeks. But I also buy my own polish at times in case I find something quite not available with them. But if I’m the mood to have a real nail art, I find time going to the salon for that.

  4. I love this set. I don’t do anything to my cuticles and I hate nail files other than that my set looks about the same.

  5. I definitely have all the tools, but not all the solutions. I never knew that these solutions were out there. I rarely ever do my nails or get them done at the salon. At the very least, I would invest in the fast dry top coat.
