One day, Tasha and I went to PS Savings Bank and saw this…

Tasha was actually attracted to the smiling young boy in the photo. I was interested at what the standee was saying about opening a PS Bank Kiddie Savers account.
So, we sat by the new accounts table and inquired:

The lady by the new accounts table was kind enough to tell us that what we need is a school ID of my daughter with a principal’s signature or a passport and her birthcertificate and my (mother/parent) valid ID (Company ID or passport).

But since my daughter has autism, she’s one of those non-verbal type who is non-verbal and can’t write, her PS Bank Kiddie Savers Account is under the special accounts under In Trust For (ITF) my daughter where I, the mother, is the only one authorized to do withdrawals or transact for her account.
After filling up the forms. In less than 15 minutes, my daughter got her passbook and is now a proud PS Kiddie Savers account holder! Yay!

Opening a PS Kiddie Savers account is so easy. It is available for children from 0-12 years old while the PSBank Teen Savers Account is for teens 13-18 years old.
There’s no initial deposit and no maintaining balance. You can start your account with a very minimal amount to continue to earn interest regardless of the balance.

However, I decided to put in an initial deposit of Php1,000.00 to activate the free personal accident insurance from Charter Ping An Insurance Corporation. This is an insurance coverage equivalent to five times the value of his average daily balance.
For regular PS Kiddie or Teen Account you can request for an ATM to be issued aside from the passbook, but since my daughter’s account is a special one we only got the passbook. To know more about interest rates per annum and other questions you have in mind regarding a Kids or Teens account visit PSBank Kids and Teens
Do tell if you are opening an account for your kids too! I am looking forward to your stories in opening your kids first bank account at PS Bank too!
Stay gorgeous everyone!
