There was no way anyone can avoid to watch Thor: The Dark World / Thor 2 at the cinema today as I think Marvel has booked all theaters in Metro Manila to show nothing but Thor on this Thursday,October 31,2013,because it is Thor’s day (pun intended!). So,since my supposedly appointment for a hair coloring treatment didn’t happen again (don’t ask me why ) I decided to do watch a movie with some last minute dates! Yay! I’m glad I watched a movie instead of having a spa treat. Why?
I enjoyed Thor 2. I love Loki more inspite of.
What I think about Thor: The Dark World ?
It was greatly executed. Each of the actors and the characters were given good air time/ exposure. Each character showed significance to the film. It was not just about Thor but everyone else. I love the good synergy of the movie as nobody was left alone to fade on the background even those who have the bit role.
Those who are saying it lacks substance, probably fell asleep (but I don;t understand how they can sleep through this movie as every second counts!) The movie, despite being a fantasy one is very much relatable, everyone can identify to any of the players in the movie.
Effects and graphic design was great, costume was good. Dialogue/ script.is superb, especially the funny ones!
Here’s some of the movie photos for your enjoyment
Thor and Odin (Chris Hemsworth and Anthony Hopkins)
Loki (Tom Hiddleston)
Jane Foster and Frigga (Natalie Portman and Rene Russo)
Malekith the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston)
The photos are tip of the iceberg my dear readers.
I suggest you watch the movie and don’t leave while the character credits roll, sit back relax and wait as there is an amazing sneak preview of the next Thor movie (Thor 3) in the end.
Out of 5 popcorns I give Thor: The Dark World a 5! Great job!
