So, it is my Tasha’s 4th day wkth measles and I decided to give her a quick bath and to use a different soap other than the germicidal soap I usually have her use. I had this Oilatum Bar for Dry Sensitive Skin in my stash of Stiefel products that I finally decide to use for this occassion. Tasha needed a mild soap that will not irritate her measle rashes.
According to the packaging Oilatum Bar is a malild cleanser for dry, sensitive skin. Allegedly it helps reduce dryness and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. They claim it is so gentle that it is suitable for all skin types including children’s and infants. Recommended by dermatologist around the world.
Product Shots
The product doesn’t have an overpowering scent but it feels fresh and mild. I had hesitation using it as I felt there’s too many chemical in it.
I will stop using this now. This is the first and last time.
How about you, what was your experience with Oilatum Bar? Was it as traumatic as mine?
Stay gorgeous everyone!

Hi Tina, thank you for sharing your experience I am glad the Oilatum Bar works for your family!
I have tried the soap. In fact, I use the soap for my entire family. I have 2 toddlers – basically a 2 year old and a 3-year old daughter and an infant barely 3 months old. It is recommended by my cousin that I should try to use it for my 2-year old child as her main bath soap. She has a very sensitive skin. Also, I tried to use it as well as my facial cleanser since I have so much oily skin and I have acne breakouts related to allergies. So far, with my kids’experience – it is all so good. Their skin feels so soft and moisturized – though I still need to apply body lotion after. In my case, I tried to use it as a facial cleanser – for the first 2 weeks I have flaky skin but it feels like it was just exfoliating all those bad skin. After that, I have a very clear skin and it is worth buying, in fact I don’t need to tag along face powder just to dry up my oily skin. I do recommend it a lot since everything with my experience goes well (both mine and my kids).
I haven’t tried this soap. But I have tried other Stiefel products like Physiogel cleanser and physiogel cream for my son’s dry skin and it helps. The cream really works because if I switch to another product his skin becomes flaky.
