After last weekend’s sun fun tan trip to Boracay, my hair just got totally frizzy and dry. My once nicely shaded blonde with highlights looked very yellow and well as the local lingo have it “kulay mais” (yellow corn shaded hair!).
I’m glad that my friend Donna scheduled me for a makeover at Instrospect Salon located at Fischer Mall in Quezon City right after my Boracay trip. I so badly needed a hair makeover!

Yes friends, I’m back to being brunette again. I choose the medium brown shade two shades lighter than my dark brown close to black haid color.
If you look closely my new hair color looks like my roots are darker than the rest. Wrll, that is actually the latest Hollywood hair trend: Root Shading! I didn’t know sucb trend until the Introspect Salon senior stylist told me about it because I was almost disappointed that my roots were not properly covered!
Props to Introspect Salon for having stylist who are very much aware of the latest hair trends. In fact their stylist told me that Beyonce, Jessica Beil, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lopez are wearing the same hairstyle/ haircolor trend right now!
Root shading hair color trend is where the natural hair color is left untouched allowing the natural hair color to grow (regrowth) then coloring the rest with either darker shade if blonde or lighter shade if brunette.
Aside from coloring ny hair Introspect had my hair under Keratin treatment to make it less dry and brittle! (Today will be my 3rd day with the treatment, I will update you later how my keratin treated hair goes after washing and drying myself without the help of a pro! Wish me luck!)

Your new hair looks awesome. Do you have their rates and other branches? Let me know how the keratin treatment goes 🙂 I would want to do something with my hair because it really gets unruly but I don’t want to have it rebonded or relaxed because it looks so unnaturally limp! 🙂 Thanks!
