Widus Hotel and Casino located at the Clark Freeport Zone. This hotel and casino has been there for more than seven years now but this is just the first time I’ve been there. They invited us to experience a worthwhile staycation Widus (pronounced as wid us like with us) and give this overlooked place in Clark a second look.
I am not surprsied why not too many know about such lovely hotel existed at Clark Freeport Zone because this is the facade you will see if you pass by the main street:
It just looks like an ordinary building. But major renovations are underway.
My room is on rhe second floor that is the 2nd room to the left.
The view from my window a nice garden with tree house. A perfect venue for a romantic dinner or to gaze at the stars!
Rooms
My room looks like this:
The bathroom has a glass window overlooking the beds! Bathroom has clean sanitized toilet, spacious dressers, and hot and cold shower area.
Tower 1 had more of the family rooms woth own kitchen and dining area for families and long-stayong guests.
But one of the things I liked best at Widus Hotel is the nice landscape view and architecture, like this pretty walkway from tower 1 to tower 2.
Swimming Pool
I also love the pool area! It’s big and has a lot of areas you can lounge on.
Lounging chairs are big and comfy designed by Kenneth Cobunpue perhaps?
Lots of lush greens and the bridges you can’t miss it. Perfect to have a senti moment or sun bathe!
The pool is just 4 feet deep so anyone can enjoy without any worries.
Food and Beverage
DINNER
A special 6 course off-the-menu dinner was prepared for us by the Chef
This is my favorite of all, the appetizer! Asian Tuna Tartate
The deconstructed beef noodle soup is good! I like the presentation!
Then I put it all together in the mini-bowl.
Our main course was Salmon I love the mashed potato !
And the delicious desserts which was a hit even with the kids!
All of the courses have a drink paired with it. I super love the Lychee Margarita!
BREAKFAST
A buffet breakfast was served at Salt Restaurant as well, the Baked Bacon was the favorite! I love the Yogurt all you want station!
LUNCH
Lunch was also served at Salt and we tried the dishes on their menu!
The Orange Mandarin Salad is one if their best sellers and I understand why!
I had the love Potion shake a combinationnof apple, strawberry and milk.
There’s mini burgers with fries for the kids
The Beef Bulgogi comes witg rice and kimchi
The super cruncy and tasty Crispy Pata
The Baked Salmon is good!
Of course desserts!
Entertainment
You can play at the casino or just relax and cap the night at the bar.
Widus Hotel and Casino has Prism Lounge and Bar for their guest to drink, unwind and cap the night. Live band performance and wide selection of drinks and food!
FUNCTION ROOMS
Separated from the main hotel and casino area are function rooms for events like weddings, conferences and parties!
What I think of Widus Hotel and Casino in Clark?
- I love the pool area so well maintained and the architecture and landscape is so pretty. I love the many lounging chairs scattered around so there’s a lot of choice to sun bathe ans swim.
- I love the architecture and maintenance I did not think it was more than 7 years old already!
- The food is great everything we had was really good even the beverages and the alcoholic drink. You don’t have to worry about food when you are here just enjoy your staycation.
- I don’t have pics of the gaming/ casino area as it is not alllwed but it was huge as well and a lot of players.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, facilities and property are well maintained. It is near the Duty Free shopping area at Clark Freeport Zone. There’s something for the kids and adult to enjoy and the food is great! Definitely a worthwhile staycation Widus Hotel and Casino!
