My 50 Shades of Grey Movie Review

For the Critics / Puritans/ and so-called God-Fearing / Feminist protesting this movie and saying things they know nothing about!

1. It’s a movie live with it. If you wanna be picky about movies demeaning women and any forms of abuse verbal, emotional or physical, why don’t they pick on the fairy tale books Disney Wrote and adopted to cartoon films, where the damsel in distress waits for her knight in shining armor and raise her from the rot that she is in. To wait for her Prince Charming and that life will be happily ever after.

2. Critics/Puritans are quoting the book. The book is entirely different from the movie. The Goddess quote and everything else that make the puritans/Godly cringe and scream foul from the books (up to book three was not even in the movie!) By golly watch it to shut you up and see that you are overreacting!

3. There are other movies that is more degrading to women than 50 shades what’s wrong with you people! It’s just a movie let those who want to watch it watch it.

4. I think Mr. Grey is a romantic fool. How can you not call romantic: someone who fetch you when you were drunk in club and clean up all your mess? How can you not call romantic a filthy rich guy meet your parents and take you to his family dinner and introduce you to his family? How can you not call romantic someone who takes you for a surprise helicopter and aircraft ride? How can you not call romantic someone who replaces your old car into a brand spanking new one and fix your computer without you even knowing it or asking for it?

I was one of the lucky ones to see first the 50 Shades of Grey movie  here in the Philippines and I say f*ck all the critics the movie is swoon-worthy.  Aside from all the blurred stuff , stuff I really don’t need to see, because I know and get the essence of everything happening on the screen anyway.  The blurs were not that bad like you can’t appreciate their bodies.  I think the movie was artfully/ tastefully done.  It was really classy and way too sexy.  That is why my friends,the movie was rated R18 by the MTRCB.

I will watch it with my girlfriends, I am glad I was with my babe Rhea Bue when I watch it.  We both try hard to contain our “kilig” with the romantic scenes goin on and the tension between Christian and Ana!

Jamie Dornan did really well as Christian Grey, OMG! the eyes just kill me!  Like I can melt with the way he looks and his sexy smirk.  Sigh I can dream about him tonight! Hahaha!

Dakota Johnson did good as Anastacia Steele, it was nice to see fresh faces on screen.

Both did well as to convey their feelings towards the audience watching them.  They are both effective doing the Christian and Ana part.  Good job.

As for what you have heard or have read from the book, I say screw the book.  Put it down., Don’t read it  or don’t read any further.  Just watch the movie you will appreciate it more.

Can you tell how much I have enjoyed the movie with the way I wrote about it now?

There’s just so many scenes that makes me melt, like OMG!

Remember the movie is R18 so yup there’s s e x, and the movie shown to us was tamed for Philippine audience.  But it was satisfactory, I very much enjoyed it.  I will watch it again and I could not wait for the next 2 installations!

Watch it with your girlfriends!  You can watch it with your boyfriends if you want them learn something hahahaha!

Incidentally, the cinematography in this movie just reminded me of a very artsy pre-nuptial video created by the award winning event filming in the States because , especially the mini-jet  airplane scene that was just shot so breathtakingly covering the entire scope of the view and the cute aircraft!
