A Dolphin Encounter and Reasons to Book a Super Summer Season at Ocean Adventure

Crammed for time but want to get away from your stressful urban life in Metro Manila? How does the sound of swimming with some dolphins, sea lions, turtles and feeding some sharks and some time to soak up the sun on a bed of sand and swim in the sea sounds like to you and that you can all do this in a day? Sounds awesome right?

Yesterday, my family went to Ocean Adventure and booked an Adventure Express package that whisked us out of Metro Manila and in to a very relaxing, fun and educational happiness inducing experience as we get to mingle with the majestic dolphins among everything else.

The Adventure Express is a double-the-fun super summer season day tour package by Ocean Adventure to allow more people to enjoy the seaside and get up close with the sea creatures that needs human protection. It is also a quick get-away from Metro Manila with friends, family or loved ones that you can enjoy all in one day!

My most favorite part of this adventure was a chance encounter with a dolphin while we were walking towards the theater for the Balancing Act with the African Acrobats! As I turned my head left to look at the beach area, I saw a fellow swimming by near the shore line!

I got super psyched . It was not part of the show and nobody was around yet as everyone else was probably doing the walk on the wild side or having lunch.

This chance encounter already made my day, the fee we paid is all worth it. But well what do you know this was just a fraction of things that we can do that is inclusive of the fee we paid for!

You can book your adventures anytime until end of April just make sure to book a day in advanced to get a slot. I really say it is worth it. The only annoying thing about a package tour is that when you are booked to ride with inconsiderate people who has no respect for the those who came on time. The pick-up time was supposedly 8am but the other family who was riding with us was like 1 hour and 15 minutes late!

Our family and another mom and daughter tandem on the ride with us was already agitated with the lateness of this family and they did not even bother to say sorry for being late like we owe them their lateness. So maybe to makeup for their inconsiderateness they were the first in for our ride back home like hours earlier they were in the van. Departure time was 8pm. They were in 6:30 pm hehe!

The entrance fee is inclusive of attending all the major attractions there such as the Balancing Act featuring the African Acrobats from Kenya They were really funny and good and the show was totally educational. Perfect for kids!

Then after that you can go watch the Sea Lion Marine Patrol show Also very funny and educational. Now I know why it was called Sea Lion because it has hairs like lions when it gets kinda dry!

We did not do the Walk on the Wild Side , or the Seatrek Aquarium Aventure because we were already satisfied with the above activities we did, plus the fact that we want this trip to be relaxed and not so activity packed, we just want to relax and have some little fun. We might go back to try the swimming adventures with the Dolphin, Sea Lions and Turtles next time when we have the full energy to do so. But at the moment we are happy with what we did there with the time we had.

The Swimming adventures and the Shark and Turtle Adventure is not inclusive with the Adventure Express fee. You have to pay separately for that. The photo opportunity is also not inclusive of the fee. You can have a photo using your camera or their camera for as low as Php700.00 one person. For the three of us who had a pic with the dolphin it was Php1,000.00. I really say it is all worth it!

After enjoying the Ocean Adventure we walked Camayan Beach Resort to enjoy some sun, sund, and sea!

Do I recommend this day-tour to Ocean Adventure?
Absolutely! For reasons I have stated above. Go! Bring your friends and family they will surely love it!
