Just to be able to test the waters, a Little White Box in SM Makati was opened. This little white box will t feature international brands not found elsewhere in the country for a limited time to see if a brand will make waves and be acceptable in the Philippine market for a possible opening of their stand alone stores.
This concept store was designed by architect Carlo Calma with modern and minimal look and feel and white and bright so as to highlight the brand in feature better.
For the grand opening, an Italian brand Save My Bag was the star of the store. Save My Bag is founded by couple Stefani Agazzi and Valentina Agazzi in 2013. The brand is mainly conceptualized as stylish bag protection for luxury designer bags. It is made of poly-lyca material, a material lighter and more durable than neoprene.
However, some celebrities like Patricia field started using it as a regular bag and it Oprah was who named the bag #SaveMyBag because it is incredibly light as paper!
If the brand will make it in the country this will define it. As for the launch there was a warm welcome and surprise, the price might be steep for a regular SM mall goer though but for a high-end market dweller it is a steal.
The Little White Box is located at the second level of SM Makati.
