Learning Italian-Filipino Fusion Recipe at GalaStars Culinary School

One of my childhood dream is to become a Chef. I’ve always had a fascination about cooking and I like whipping out a new recipe or invent a new dish with whatever I find in our kitchen. I grew up watching cooking shows and always enjoyed watching my dad prepare our meal (yeah he is the better cook than mom). Everytime I get invited to a cooking workshop or seminar or even competition, I get excited. So when I was invited by Samsung Appliances for another of their monthly cooking workshop series (that I always fail to attend coz of sked confict) I said yes right away. What got me more excited than ever is that we will be doing an Italian-Filipino Fusion Recipe which is a fusion of both my favorite cuisine.

I super love GalaStars Culinary School, all the cooking tools I want in my own kitchen is there. Plus the star for this month’s workshop , the Samsung Smart Oven. OMG! How I wish to have one. The size is just right for a condo dweller like me who needs small-sized and multi-functional items to save space. Hello Santa Claus, you know what to give me. I am not kidding.

Moving on, we did two dishes, the Linguini with Crab Fat and the Chicken Longganisa Mozarela!

Before we were allowed to do the dishes by ourselves, Samsung Digital Appliances Ambassador Chef Ernest Gala was our mentor. The demo was easy peasy especially when using the  TDF Samsung Smart Oven, everything cooks real fast and just right. I want one. Hello Samsung do you read me! Promise will bake with this too! Haha!
