Bridestory: How to Pick the Right Wedding Dress and Style Inspirations from Celebrity Weddings

In all honesty, I think picking the right wedding dress is as difficult as finding the perfect groom. Hahaha! I mean you don’t want to go wrong with what you will wear during one of the most important and most photographed day of your life. So how do you pick the right wedding dress for you?

Go with your heart
This was one of the best piece of advise I got from a friend who just got married recently. Sharing her Bridestory to me , she said when picking the right wedding dress don’t go for what makes the other people teary-eyed, go for something that will make you teary-eyed. It is more of what you feel wearing the dress, not what the other people will see or feel. It’s just like saying yes to the one you will marry, when you know he/she is the right one you will propose, you will say yes. No if’s or buts. When it feels right it is right (there will be no hint of doubt even a molecule size of doubt).

Remember your personal style
While it is good to go with what your wedding gown maker , friends, parents or the idea you found online, keep in mind your personal style and what makes you comfortable and what’s flattering for your figure. Like other fashion trends, the style that looks good on other people may not look good on you and vice-versa. Some of the rules of wedding dress makers is that the fishtail style is always good for every figure but its not always the case.

Have at least 10 wedding dress style pegs so it will be easier for you to narrow down your choices. You can find online wedding dress style online and narrow them down to the dress that will go along your wedding ceremony theme.

Honestly, if you look online for wedding dress suggestions you can get overwhelmed as there are so many beautiful idea you can get lost to. If your wedding is one year from today, you can start pinning your dream wedding dress pegs at Bridestory and have them ready when you visit your couture . Just remember to pick the dresses that you can see yourself wearing and not just because it looks good on whoever was wearing it when you saw it.
