A Beautiful and Handsome Fare Date

The invite said bring a date, someone you cherish most.

Unfortunately, I didn’t bring anyone because the person I cherish most is my DD and I cannot bring her with me as I think it was not appropriate for the theme they have in mind which is something romantic.   I was even lightly nagged by my good friend from Avon Philippines  for not bringing anyone with me, not even a date.

I told her I was dating myself.  Is it a sin to date yourself?  I think not.  If you know the cliche, it is better to be alone than with a bad company.

I wouldn’t bring just anyone just to have a show guy with me.  I am not like that.  The next best person to bring would be my mom but my mom is not herself anymore after the stroke.  My sister will be the third best someone to bring with me but it was a work week , she has work.  My supposedly romantic date is a workaholic too, he is busy making money that he has not time for love or well show love on social media.  We like to keep it that way.

I know my friend was just teasing, plus the reservation they made at the Cru Stakehouse was for two, I said they need not to worry, I can eat an entire course for two for myself haha!  I am also used to date myself so let the food come in….

It was a four course lunch with a nice whole bread and organic tomato salad as appetizer

Followed by a large bowl of heavenly organic creamy mushroom soup with truffles …

Then the main course a delectable, tender and tasty Angus Beef Stake with organic vegetables and potato on the side… mmm

Desserts was a Chocolate Hazelnut Pudding with Peach Icecream and chocolate rocks

Back to the reason why we were there, the beautiful and handsome fare event was held at the delicious Cru Stakehouse in Marriott Hotel Manila  to launch the new faces of Avon Fragrance.  Jodi Sta.
