Herschel Supply Summer 2016 Bag Hunt #WIWTD 90

How important is the bag you use/carry when you go out on your travel adventures? Very important!Recently I went to a bag hunt to the Makati Secret Garden where Herschel Supply SUmmer 2016 Bags were hidden behind pottery of plants, bushes and tree trunks. They were all waiting to be discovered, be photographed and taken home by the one who found them.

 

As I explored the beautiful secret garden I chanced upon some of bags from Herschel Supply Summer 2016 Bag Collection #HerschelSupplySS16 …
This one perched high on a tree … 

Another hidden in the middle of thorny branches …
Some just lounging comfortably by pots and plants …

Until I glanced upon the bag that really caught my attention, that I just had to grab it and feel it and bring along with me as I explored the beautiful garden at sunset…


Oh yes, I went home with this bag! It’s mine! The first of the explorer photo that I took using the self timer made me win the best photo for this bag so they gave it to me! Happy me!

But wait there’s more…

Before entering the cocktails area we were asked to guess the number of Herschel Supply items inside a Herschel bag at the registration… I guessed 5 items…

The bags used for the hunting were part of the Hershel Supply Summer 2016 Collection but aside from those bags there are other bag designs/ colors available inspired by the calming ocean breee and tropical paradise. Designs that are available from the Classic Collecton like the popular Dawson bag and the spin-off design Iona. Available in crossbody, backpack, shoulderbag and clutch bags. The Studio Collection on the other hand is the utilitarian aspect of Herschel which features clean lines and innovative water resistant materials, where the iconic America backpack is introduced with polycoat offering. And of course the Headwear collection embracing the spirit of tropical destinations with a broad range of headwear from caps, bucket hats, knitted beanies. And the first from Herschel is the woven straw Dawn.

But wait there’s more !the Herschel Supply Summer 2016 Collection Bag hunt was not just a launch but it is also a fund raising partnership between Herschel Supply and Makati Garden Club . The proceeds will be extended to charitable institutions that will help send less fortunate kids to school.

If you don’t know Makati Garden Club (MGC) is an exclusive club in Makati started by a small group of plant lovers in the country. Maria Luisa Secret Garden is a nice place to hold intimate garden setting events and the MGC continously support different fun-raising and livelihood project to give back to the Filipino community. Herschel Supply draws from the imagination of the explorers and dreamers, blending iconic innovation and aeconic aesthetics to enable wanderer in us one bag at a time.
