Faux Pas Paris the Perfect Rainy Day Pair

Just recently, I went to an event wearing a canvass sneakers. Unexpectedly, a big outpour happened and my shoes and feet got drenched in rain (huhuhu!).

I was planning to buy a rainy day boots so my shoes and my feet will survive the rainy day season. Fortunately , a more stylish waterproof footwear came to the rescue! Say hello to a Faux Pas Paris !

Faux Pas (pronounced as Fo-Pa) means false step in English. False or fake step because the shoes, which are mostly stylish and beautifully crafted flats (ballerinas and sandals) makes you feel like not wearing shoes but you are. The frame is waterproof and is made from eco-friendly PVC material that comes in a variety of colors and designs!

Faux Pas Paris interchangeable Jams

Anyway, the launch event was a “Craft to Charm” event where invited guest were challenged to design their own Faux Pas Paris jams and pouches. Jams by the way are the design on top of the shoes, are interchangeable so get a basic pair and a dozen of jams and you already have a dozen pair of shoes! Isn’t that genius!

Rhea and Trice made the most adorable jam designs while Seph did a very pretty pouch:

A pair cost Php2,800+ depends on the style, the Spring-Summer 2016 collection they released in Manila comes in five different styles, I love the pair with a half-inch heel, I also love their pointed flats, who am I kidding I love it all. Best of all is it’s waterproof! Yay!
