I grew up watching the Ghostbuster cartoons and movie. I remember staying home on a Friday to watch the cartoon and I religiously watch every episode. I also enjoyed the movies . When I learned there was a new Ghostbusters movie, I was half excited. Half excited because instead of the usual male Ghostbusters Egon, Winston, Ray, Peter and receptionist/ secretary Janine, the new movie features female Ghostbusters Abby, Erin, Jillian , Patty and receptionist/ secretary Kevin. I don’t know what to expect because honestly, I have not even seen the trailer!
Going inside the movie, I had no expectations but to see what this new movie has to offer. Fortunately, it did not disappoint. I was entertained hugely. The movie was fun and engaging. I love the effects, the fluidity of the movie, the humor and the editing. No dead scenes at all. The novelty of the original Ghostbusters was there except it was kinda different, this was modernized and yes the GB are girls hehe. But the old familiar characters was spotted too plus there was a lot of amazing cameos in the film that added extra spice of fun to the film . Chris Hemsworth was such an eye candy it it too.
While some purist old school Ghostbuster fans was not happy with it, I was happy with it. It is worth to watch . A timely Ghostbuster for this generation. The movie was general patronage so kids can watch the movie with you. It’s a great cheer-me-up movie.

LOL! 80’s kid ka nga! I remember watching The Real Ghostbusters every Friday sa ABS CBN then we’ll change channel to para ma watch yung Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles. Hahaha! brings back childhood memories.
