If you are a Grab rider you are aware of the recent promo Grab Philippines had for their riders where they asked their riders to pick a side for the The Last Jedi ” promo.
The app asked riders to pick a side and surprisingly 59% of the pledged their allegiance to dark side The First Order. Only 41% were for The Resistance!
The top five from both side who used the promo TheLastJedi for each of their ride were picked for the Final Battle at the #MastertheForce event held at the Bonifacio Global City last weekend. They faced each other in a Star Wars trivia game with questions only a die-hard wookie can answer!
There was three rounds on the trivia game with each round yielding a more difficult question than the previous rounds. To my delight a female rider named Grace emerged as the winner and she will be treated by Grab and Disney to an all expense paid trip for two to Rancho Obi-Wan in San Francisco California U.S.A. This is a museum of the biggest Star Wars collection in the world that a fan will truly go gaga for! Congratulations Grace very well deserved win!
Meanwhile, before the showdown, other Grab riders enjoyed the booths with their own Star Wars experience. There was drone races, AR games and GIF booth where you can be a jedi, a sith lord or whatever Star Wars character you like.
The day ended with Grab treating us to a VIP blocl screening of Star Wars : The Last Jedi at the Venice McKinley Hill Cineplex with those amazing lazy boy couches , unli drinks and pop-corn and a ride to and back home in a Star Wars Grab car.
Grab Philippines promises their riders that it is more than just a ride but an experience. Expect many other upcoming rewards and surprises like this one in the coming days.
