UPDATE: Uber major fail by Xend. They have a problem with informing their clients regarding pickup request and they tend to delete your scheduled pickup at their whim.
This is an unsolicited advice and this is not even a paid post in favor of Xend. This is just to make life easier for companies who are sending sample products to bloggers and assure them that they get the product as promised.
Please use Xend. They are the cheapest and most reliable third party shipping company I have ever used. They pick up and deliver packages straight to your office or homes. Rate is Php50.00 for Metro Manila shipping address and Php80.00 for provincial shipping address as long as the package does not exceed 1 kilo. Additional and very minimal fee if you exceed 1 kilo.
This post was prompted after a series of undelivered packages allegedly sent to me by companies and agencies. Most of the packages are sample products, beauty products, clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, food, juices, milk and the so much more. It saddens me that the company would ask me in a text message or email if I got the product they sent and why have I not written or posted about it in my blog or even Tweet or post a photo in my Facebook wall.
Its not that I am an ungrateful person to not even acknowledge whatever was sent to me. The problem is I never got them ever.
Please use Xend, its easier, faster, and most of all convenient. If you want an item to be delivered to anyone in the country please sign-up for an account at Xend.com.ph . You can pay cash on delivery (COD) , you can fill up your waybill form as soon as the delivery/pick-up guy gets there. Request for packets (small, medium, large ) for your packages and waybill when you ask for pick-up.

Xend Packets in Large and Small. Large can fit a shoe box, small can fill small items

Xend Waybill Form – A waybill form is a form a sender use to put details about the receiver of his/her package.

i usually send gift packages thru air21,lbc and 2go. i don’t think they accept packages with liquid stuff though. lbc customer service at the sm the block, sm marilao and edsa-taft sucks. they act as if you owe them or something. i haven’t tried xend.
wow, xend should be honored for this adorable post:)
Thanks dear. From now on, I will consider Xend na talaga!
I totally agree with you! Companies/ brands should ship their products now via Xend. I don’t really want to drop names but there are things send to me via Philippine Post office that I never receive. Most of it was send to me around November 2011 but it’s already March 2012 and no sign of the parcels 🙁
Umulan, bumagyo, bumaha, dumarating pa rin sa aming doorsteps si Manong Xend para magpadala at magpick-up 😀
