I always like to push myself to the limit and being a competitive person that I am I love taking on challenges. So, when Jergens contacted me if I want to do a challenge for them, without even giving it a thought I just said yes.
A few days after this arrived at my doorstep…
Oh, did you notice the new Jergens packaging? That was the first I noticed really, new typeset and colors this one looks classy and expensive haha!
Now anticipating what’s next…

MISSION #1: RADIATE BEAUTY FROM WITHIN
For someone who is a people person, I thought this will be easy, but it was actually nerve wrecking. I was trying to weigh who is the best person to approach and the situation we are in. I might come off as weird and they might think I am selling them something or sort.
I had an appointment at YSA Robinson Galeria today and my plan was to give it to another client there or an attendant but everyone was busy so I was not able to do it.
On the bus I rode from Galeria I was seated next to a couple on a 3seater. I thought this is a best timing and person to give this bottle. She looks friendly enough and looks like someone who likes kikay stuff.
I introduced myself and asked if she have tried the new Jergens lotion. Of course I have tried it on before approaching her so I told her it smells good and not sticky. She said she have not. So I took the bottle from my bag and gave it to her. “Well, you can try it now, I am giving this to you.”
She was like “Really? You are giving this to me? Nakakahiya?”
So I told her I am a blogger and we are tasked to give a bottle to a random stranger and see her reaction, plus take her photo with the bottle.
It was fun to see her and her friends reaction. It feels good to make someone’s day with a small gesture like this. It makes me feel warm and fussy inside!
Mission 1: Accomplished!
I can’t wait for the next task!
