Ortigas Sky Line

Some people hate the city because of the traffic and smog. Life is fast phased and everyone seems to be in a hurry. Well, that is the negative side. However to me the city is also a beautiful place. I admire the city because of it’s magnificent skyscrapers and high rise buildings. They never fail to amaze me. The engineer and the construction workers who did their magic creating a master piece.

These photos were taken at Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines. I can’t stop admiring the view when I look at the window especially when I see a clear blue sky and then the sunset, it’s breathtaking.

I took this picture at the MRT II Ortigas station.

This was the view from my office window from the right side. The San Miguel Corp. bldg, St. Francis Square Twin Towers, Crown Plaza, Linden Suites etc.

This was the view on my left side almost sunset. Another upcoming highrise, the Edsa Shangrila Plaza Mall, Shangrila Hotel and SM Megamall.

Here are more skies to watch and appreciate:)

  1. Wow, you have quite a view from up there. Cool shots.
    Happy SWF.

  2. Me too would get excited whenever I spot a clear blue sky in the city! I guess there’s not much difference from Kuala Lumpur too, when we talk about traffic and smog 😉 I have not been to the Philippines, and surely look forward for an opportunity to visit Manila one day.

  3. Beautiful shot of the highrise climbing into the clouds! Cool building architecture too. I used to love the tall buildings when I lived in San Francisco.
