Paranoid Mom

I know I can be super paranoid at times but one of my biggest fears having a beautiful special daughter like mine is that some evil person will come one day and do bad things to her.  The world can be such a crazy place to live and all you can do is pray real hard that these incidents won’t happen.

But of course we should do our assignment as well. Meaning, we should empower ourselves with all the knowledge we can have to protect our children from bad people like sexual offenders.

I heard private companies provide list of these offenders.  Because having such a list is not usually available for everyone in the U.S. since their government does not provide them to “protect” the rights of these offenders.  I think that is crazy.  They were the ones who violated a persons right first and yet their government protects their rights first.  What was the logic in that.

Good thing that these information is now available in the internet.  At least people won’t have to pay huge amounts from private entities just to get a copy of this report.  The majority of the people who follows the law and respect other peoples rights is more rightful to know if there are bad people living in their neighborhood so they can protect themselves.  It’s always better to be safe than be sorry.
