How To Play The Yahoo Purple Hunt

So you want to win a purple digital Canon Ixus camera, how about a purple Blackberry mobile phones specially designed by Pinoy artists or drive home the  one-of-a-kind Honda Jazz car sporting purple artwork created by WeWillDoodle.  It’s easy just play Where’s Wally or Dora the Explorer and follow the clues that can be found at Yahoo! Answers, Yahoo! Groups and Flickr (Purple Hunt Clues).

I guess everyone from the Philippines is now aware of this exciting online treasure hunting game launched by Yahoo Philippines, the Yahoo Purple Hunt.  I’ve been hunting since the first day and proud to say that as soon as the clues were given I already know the answers.   I already got the right answers to two of the cameras.

Here’s some friendly tip.  When you think you know where the prize is this is where you input your answer:

You can find this when you click one of the puzzle pieces that looked like this:My difficulty was how to input the right format of the address to the microsite.  I have to try multiple times just to get the answer right.  I even have to ask a friend who got the answer already what the right format was. Here’s some tip:

1) Do not include the place ex. Netopia Internet Cafe, Starbucks Coffee, Aling Nena’s Eatery
2) The microsite is not case sensitive so it doesn’t matter if you input capital or small letter
3) Do not do appreviations no period, commas, punctuation marks or hypens
4) Bldg. Number, Street Number, City  e.g. 143 A Bonifacio street santa ana manila
