ER Vacation Spree

Hello everyone! Sorry for not updating my blog this past couple of days.  I was at the hospital because my daughter had her first ever epileptic attack.  It was so scary. I got the biggest scare in my entire life.  I had never seen her like that ever.  Thank God she is now alright and that her neurologist Dr. Jose Robles and developmental pediatrician Dr. Christine Conducto and their associates Dr. Melvin Flavier were all there to monitor her and take care of her.

It was not nice to stay in the hospital though, especially in the ER.  We were forced to stay at the ER because there was no room available.  There are so many kids getting sick these days. My sister was joking we just won a free accommodation to the most prestige place you have ever known, the hospital ER.  Instead of an Oceanfront Hotel Myrtle Beach we were staying in as bed spacer ER front.

This was not the vacation my sister expected.  Instead of bonding in a Resort in Myrtle Beach we were in a hospital, the Philippine Children’s Hospital.  I think this would be one of the most memorable vacation my sister ever had.  Imagine we were able to witness a baby slowly dying in front of us as the doctor was trying to resuscitate her.  The mother was crying horrified at the scene unfolding it was a heart breaking moment.

After a day we were moved out of the ER, finally and were taken to a private room with a nice view of trees. It was no Myrtle Beach Resort but the room was better, far more better than the ER.  We were able to sleep well and take a shower and daughter was able to walk around and play.
