I’m 31 years old and I know my body was not as it was 10 years ago. I easily gain and I find it hard to lose weight. I know most of you don’t agree that I need to get fit but I know my body very well. I use to fit nicely on any clothes on the rack you can see but now I don’t and it’s very depressing .
I know I need to shape up and I can only do this with a fitness partner or a team to join me on November 14, 2009 at the Greenbelt Park in Makati for the weigh-in for the Nestle Fitnesse 14 Days to Show Off Your Shape challenge. It’s a win-win challenge really because we will not only shed pounds but win some expensive clothes from Kate Toralba, Religioso, Michi Calica, Hermes, Jun Escario, Rhett Eala, Chanel and 7 for All Mankind.
Now what is the Nestle Fitnesse 14 Days to Show Off Your Shape challenge?
It’s a 14 day diet plan where each of the team members or fitness partner will have to lose at least 2 pounds in 2 weeks!
To be successful with the challenge everyone is tasked to replace at least a meal or two a day with a Nestle Fitnesse whole grain cereal.
Independent research shows that that those who eat whole grains tend to weigh less than those who don’t and are less likely to gain weight over time.
A sample diet would be:
Breakfast: 30g bowl of NESTLÉ FITNESSE with 125ml skimmed milk, 1 fruit, 1 tea or coffee
Lunch: Balanced meal with vegetables, meat or fish or eggs, bread, dairy products
Dinner: 30g bowl of NESTLÉ FITNESSE with 125ml skimmed milk, vegetables or low fat soup, low fat yogurt.
Lunch and dinner can be interchangeable and if you feel a need to snack it’s best that you munch on fruits. However, it is recommended that those taking medications should consult their doctors first before taking the challenge.
