My Daughter’s Christmas Anime Party

Apologies to the delayed post. I know most of you are excited to see what I’ve come up as costume for my daughters Christmas Anime themed party but since my internet was so nice to me (sarcasm) the past few weeks I wasn’t able to upload any photos until today.

Negima or Magic Teacher was my inspiration for her costume.  It’s very simple since it’s just a Japanese school uniform.  I got the materials from Saizen the P85 store in Robinsons Galleria, and Landmark department store girls section at Trinoma.

I had a hard time finding an anime costume for my daughter since we were only given two weeks notice. I would have ordered cosplay costumes online if I had more time since we know how our postage system is here in the Philippines. Comic Alley only offers Naruto costumes and they are too expensive for a one-time use only. Naruto and Sakura is sold at P1,800.

I think I overdid the red ribbon though. But still she looks so cute she even made it to the Top 10 Best in Costume nominees!

Their party was held at PCMC Conference Hall at PCMC in Quezon City last December 4, 2009.  It was hosted by the therapist and doctors and the interns of the Rehabilitation Center of PCMC where special kids undergo occupational therapy, physical therapy and hydro therapy.
