A new range of intelligent document imaging devices that blends hardware, software, and strategic services to help businesses advance in today’s demanding markets, imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series, was launched by Canon Marketing Philippines last Thursday. ImageRunner Advance is a dynamic new series of product line developed for large-sized and medium-sized corporation.
The new ADVANCE series is designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s user by enhancing work efficiency and security while helping companies manage and customize workflows for better operational performance.
Advance Usability. It has customizable user interface that features a full color SGVA TFT control panel with an 8.4″ x 10.4″ multicolor screen for wide viewing angles and a slide-and-tilt screen that allows a user to adjust the control panel to a comfortable and accessible position. A user can customize the interface by logging in to their account and selecting the on-screen background and reorganize the on-screen button according to what they need at work.
Advance Efficiency. Has integrated Office Open XML (OOXML) file format in its system that enables users to simply scan documents then quickly convert them into editable files. The ImageRunner Advance Series can scan hard copies and convert the scanned image into digital editable OOXML format tha can be opened using Microsoft PowerPoint. This sophisticated new function eliminates the time-consuming process of manually recreating an entire PowerPoint file.
In addition, Canon partnered with Adobe by integrating its features into the new imageRunner Advance Series that supporst True Adobe PDF and PDF Reader Extensions formats. It can now identify the style and format of scanned PDF documents, making them searchable and compatible with the Windows search operating system.
Advance Security. The imageRunner Advance Series also offers improved document security by introducing the highly secure Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management ES, a system that provides controlled access to scanned PDF documents making it impossible for other users other than the original user to copy, view, edit or print without access or password given by the original user.. Users can assign fully editable usage rights to policy-protected PDF files with a preset password.
Advance Responsibility: The imageRunner Advance models are designed to be the smallest and lightest in their class . It is also expected to reduce CO2 emission by over 30% compared to previous models. It uses white LED lighting and can only consume 1W in Sleep Mode.
The Canon ImageRunner Advance comes in a number of models namely C9075 PRO, C9065 PRO, C5051m C5045, C5035 and C5030. A unit can cost around Php300,000 excluding accessories. The one below can cost over Php500,000.
